New Firefighting Apparatus
The Red Lick Volunteer Fire Department is happy to announce that we have acquired a new firefighting apparatus. The new Air Tanker 11 will be incredible useful for fighting wildland fires on hillsides. And wherever else there is fire.
The aircraft itself will be parked at the Madison County Airport, and take about 10 minutes from dispatch to dropping water and fire retardant anywhere in the fire district.
Happy April Fools day. We couldn't even pay for the fuel to start this thing up. But we have amazing dreams.
